Another Riley excerpt: Windyridge Revisited

Following on from the previous post, another great quote from the same person in the story:

"The way of transgressors is hard and full of pits, and the King's highway is a lovely road, because though there are lots of hills and valleys and dark places, there is the King himself with you, and your mouth is filled with laughter and your tongue with singing and your heart leaps for joy."
 (W. Riley, Windyridge Revisited)

Yet another wonderful reminder that we can know "the King" with us all along life's journey.
What a blessing and privilege to walk with our Saviour King. When we know He is with us, we need never be afraid. Are you experiencing the reality of these words? Does your heart leap for joy at the mention of our King? Or have you been one of the transgressors whose way has been hard and full of pits?
Either way, King Jesus knows all about it and cares more for you than you could possibly imagine.
Truly our tongues should never cease singing His praise.
