Three excellent teachings from the book of Colossians that are quite challenging.
Well, I thoroughly enjoyed them anyway.
What do you reckon of them?

Books and sermons and lots of grace.

Great quote from a book called "The End of a Coil" by Susan Warner
I've read several of her books and they are all lovely, but this jumped out at me the other day:
"...if anyone trusts His word and is willing to be His servant, Jesus loves him, and keeps him, and saves him, and makes him blessed for ever."
(How good is that!)

Also, a quote from a Joe Focht sermon that I heard recently:
"You'll never really know peace until you know the grace of God."
(That's why Paul always says Grace and peace, not the other way round.)
