"As with gladness men of old"

Well, a small group went carol singing on Thursday and Saturday, and it seemed to go very well. The only slight snag was that on Thursday it rained very heavily so our carol sheets got absolutely soaked (as did we)! and we didn't know how "As with gladness men of old" went. Yesterday evening, I went somewhere else and they sang it to the alternative tune "Dix" which I knew from another song, and I really like this carol and am quite surprised that I didn't know it before. I think the words are really good too!
