I always loved this verse. I think it's such a great encouragement that no matter how frequently we mess up, our God is the One who is able to keep us and present us faultless with exceeding joy. What a glorious day of rejoicing that will be! God and the angels and redeemed mankind will all rejoice greatly at the Lord's great loving kindness and mercies and gracious dealings with His people.  When you're struggling to hold on to that, remember this: "The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth." Psalm 145:17-18.  Whether it feels like that or not is another matter but our feelings do not dictate truth.  He is gracious, and worthy of all the praise we can give, even in the hardest circumstances. We have many examples of this all through the Scriptures.

Another excerpt from a Susan Warner book

"Paul said he was an apostle 'by the will of God'; and whatever I may be, it shall be by the same will. I am the Lord's servant; what He wants me to do, I will do, and He will show me what that is."    "But Stephen, everything in this world is not for duty? Don't you allow some little chink or cranny where pleasure comes in?" Stephen smiled, a smile that astonished his friend, and almost silenced him. "I have no greater pleasure than to do the will of God," he said. "See Charles, you do not understand it, because you do not know Him, but I know Him. He has redeemed me, and forgiven me, and adopted me; He has made me inexpressibly happy with His presence: I am not living without pleasure, I am full of it; and the only thing I wish for further in this world is to do what work my Lord has for me to do, and so please Him." "Stephen M.D."

"Light is available to all who seek. That is the secret. Those who seek God earnestly and desperately shall surely come into the glorious light of His presence." "Nobody was more intolerant than Jesus Christ was." A.W. Tozer "1 I have learned the wondrous secret Of abiding in the Lord; I have found the strength and sweetness Of confiding in His word; I have tasted life’s pure fountain, I am drinking of His blood, I have lost myself in Jesus, I am sinking into God.  Refrain: I’m abiding in the Lord, And confiding in His word, And I’m hiding, safely hiding, In the bosom of His love.  2 I am crucified with Jesus, And He lives and dwells in me, I have ceased from all my struggling, ’Tis no longer I but He; All my will is yielded to Him, And His Spirit reigns within, And His precious blood each moment Keeps me cleansed and free from sin. [Refrain] 3 All my cares I cast upon Him, And He bears them all away; All my fears and griefs I tell Him, All my ne...

Tozer devotional

I came across this last night, and thought it was well worth sharing. "GOD'S HIGHEST WILL Let us consider three simple things reinforced in the Word of God for those who would discern God's highest will. First, be willing to put away known sin! Second, separate yourself from all of the attractions of the world, the flesh and the devil! Finally, offer yourself to your God and Saviour in believing faith! God has never yet turned away an honest, sincere person who has come to know the eternal value of the atonement and the peace that is promised through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The only person who will never be cleansed and made whole is the one who insists he or she needs no remedy. The person who comes in faith to God and confesses, "I am unclean; I am sin-sick; I am blind," will find mercy and righteousness and life. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Saviour, the Cleanser. He is the Purifier, the Healer. He is the Sight-giver and the Li...
