Today, the 9th annual SportsReach Netball tournament was held at Garstang Academy. Yes, I've been to all of them!! (what a scary thought!!) Our team - Brookhouse- is in the novice section and we played 3 matches this morning, 1 in the pouring rain, before the final. We won 2 games and lost 2 games, so I think we did pretty well really. We were the runners up, beaten by Garstang (who win nearly every year!!) We had a lot of fun and only minor injuries!! No-one had to be carried/helped off the court this year, thankfully!!
The league teams were playing this afternoon, and in between, (before the "prize-giving ceremony") a friend of mine gave a talk on the importance of recognizing His Holiness and our sinfulness, repenting, and choosing to follow Jesus.
... now to recover from my stiffness!! :)
