Samuel Rutherford was born in Scotland in 1600 and he died in 1661. I recently started reading his "Garden of Spices" and wanted to share a couple of the poems found therein.
Some may find the very old fashioned language harder to understand but I think they're worth reading.
I hope you also find them encouraging.
