Well, Dad and I had a really fantastic time in Winsford, Cheshire listening to John Mackay. There were 3 sessions, and we arrived a few minutes into the 1st session due to a traffic jam. It sometimes feels a bit like information overload as he always gives so many fascinating facts. We learnt a lot!! 1 of my favourite parts was when he told us not to blame God for broccoli and brussels sprouts because they come from the cabbage and its man made breeding etc that gave us all these varieties. (But left to their own devices, they would revert to wild cabbage!!!!) We also had a great time singing along to Helen Shapiro's latest album "What Wondrous Love is this?"
